Lima
The capital city of Peru is not the most pleasent city but not to be missed if you are interested in history or culture. A lot of interesting museums and beautiful architecture. Nicest part of Lima is Miraflores where many hotels are located. Area around airport is quite horrible and we don't recommend wondering around Lima when it's dark. Most of the year Lima is surrounded by mist and it makes the city feel a bit grey. Many people end up just flying through it on their way to Cuzco or Iquitos or other countries.
